SPEAKERS TECHLAW.FEST 2018: Jerrold SOH
Jerrold is the co-founder of Lex Quanta, a startup that’s building analytics tools and outcome simulators for the legal industry using data science. The startup also works closely with legal organisations to enhance their data processes and unlock value in their datasets.
In 2014, Jerrold co-founded alt+Law, the NUS (Law) legal technology interest group that was invited to present its legal technology projects to the Ministry of Law and the Committee of Future Economy. Through alt+Law, Jerrold has routinely conducted code workshops for NUS law students that seek to explain programming using familiar legal concepts.
Jerrold is also a self-taught web developer and has worked on corporate websites. In 2012, he launched owlcove.sg, an A-level notes sharing portal that he still runs.
Currently a final year Law and Economics student at the National University of Singapore, Jerrold splits his time between looking at cases, statutes, algebraic symbols, data, and code. Usually, he can tell the difference.
