Andrew Au leads the Future Systems Team at the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS), where he spearheads efforts to explore and leverage cutting-edge technologies to improve existing processes and create innovative new products across the Registries Cluster.

Previously, as a Senior Trade Mark Examiner, Andrew led the Trade Marks Operations Technology Team which created IPOS Go, the world’s first mobile app for trade mark registration. He also played a pivotal role in the development of IPOS Digital Hub, the registry’s next-generation national IP filing and processing platform.

Throughout his career, Andrew has maintained a strong focus on innovation. As an engineer by training, he is a passionate advocate for data-driven decision-making and analytics, applying these principles to problem-solving and system improvement.
