Juyuan was called to the Singapore Bar in 2014 and has a demonstrated history of legal practice and working with the various stakeholders in the legal services industry. He was previously the Legal Technology Vision Programme Manager and Legal Counsel in the Singapore Academy of Law, providing commercially-driven legal assistance to the operational needs of SAL, in particular, the Legal Technology Cluster. With the time he spent in the legal tech industry and past practice experience, Juyuan joined a local legal technology solution provider, where he was involved in Project Management, Partnerships, and Business Development, and worked closely with clients and industry partners.

Juyuan then joined the Law Society Pro Bono Services, where, as a Manager (Legal and IT) at the Criminal Legal Aid Scheme (CLAS), he co-managed and improved both the legal and operational aspects of the scheme as the world transitioned into the living and working during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now, Juyuan is with the Office of Transformation and Innovation (“”OTI””) of the Singapore Judiciary, the team responsible for the entire transformation cycle: from horizon-scanning, strategy and policy planning, to business process re-engineering and technology implementation across the Courts.
