Jeth Lee is Microsoft Singapore’s Chief Legal Officer. He provides overall counsel on legal, public policy and regulatory matters in the Southeast Asian region, and is passionate about fostering a trusted and resilient digital ecosystem.
Jeth is responsible for driving strategic transactions, brokering public-private partnerships, and navigating the organisation through complex regulatory environments. He leads Microsoft’s efforts on a spectrum of critical issues, including artificial intelligence, privacy, cloud computing, sustainability and cybersecurity.
Prior to joining Microsoft, Jeth spent a decade in leadership and management roles at the Singapore Exchange, where he served as the group’s chief compliance officer and lead counsel. Earlier in his career, he practised securities law at Allen & Gledhill, a leading Singapore law firm.
Jeth read law at the National University of Singapore, where he was chief editor of the law review. He holds a master’s degree in corporate law from New York University, and is qualified as an advocate and solicitor.
