Sandy joined the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) in 2009 and presently serves as hearing officer (Principal Assistant Registrar) and Senior Legal Counsel.

Prior to joining the Hearings & Mediation Department (HMD) in 2009, Sandy was working at a state department in Western Australia for two years dealing with legislation matters.

Before that, Sandy was also with IPOS, at the Registry of Trade Marks, handling registration of trade marks and the implementation of the Madrid Protocol. Now that she is in HMD, she has come back full circle.

Sandy has spoken at various events and seminars, both international and national.

Sandy holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the National University of Singapore and a Masters of Laws (LLM) from the University of Western Australia.
